Beginnings

Excitement. Apprehension. These feelings commonly arise at the word “beginnings.” Humanly, we love the adventure and hate the unknown.

Today, I am beginning a blog, not because I am the best writer who ever lived or because I have the most important thing to say; but because I have been given a gift. Well, many gifts actually, such as the following: a natural inclination to write, great English teachers, a mommy who noticed my potential, and a mom who believes in me enough to point out my errors and read my heart.

In general, I’ll be brief.

Travel Light.
