Yes, we reflect the light of Christ more fully when we are broken. Rough waters are often the most beautiful. Choppy waves and wriggly ripples add texture and beauty to an otherwise bland surface. Likewise, when we lose ourselves in Christ and allow our selves to be broken, we become richer and deeper people, rich with the texture of Christ.
